25 organisations complete HSE's Corporate Health and Safety Performance Index
The organisations who have so far completed HSE's Corporate Health and Safety Performance Index (CHaSPI) have earned the praise and respect of the Minister for Health and Safety and the HSC Chairman for their public commitment to health and safety.
CHaSPI is designed for large organisations (over 250 employees), there are currently over 290 organisation registered to enable them to track their health and safety performance year on year and to compare their performance against others, results are publicly available and can be viewed by key stakeholders and others with an interest in health and safety performance.
Comment:
"We see good health and safety management as part of good management in general. CHaSPI can help this and it promotes the Commission's strategy of working with and through others.
We see CHaSPI as a long term measure, so it is gratifying to see the steady increase in organisations whose results already appear on the website." - HSC Chairman
