Dickies (UK), the country’s premier manufacturer of industrial workwear, has launched a workwear range that combines Dickies’ traditional qualities of durability and toughness with contemporary designs.

The Eisenhower range is a collection of garments for image conscious plumbing and heating engineers who want workwear that looks great too. Currently available is the Eisenhower Shirt (long or short sleeve), trousers, shorts and a jacket. The smart and functional Eisenhower range is available in black and navy.

Smart, comfortable and hardwearing, the Eisenhower Work Jacket is made from a lightly brushed cotton canvas and has a Nylon lining. The retro styling is unmistakable and features a full zip front, adjustable waistband, two jet pockets and a zipped pen pocket on the sleeve: a lightweight jacket projecting a modern and professional image.

To compliment the Eisenhower Work Jacket, Dickies has adapted the popular cargo style trousers to produce a pair of tough and practical work trousers. Also made from a lightly brushed cotton canvas, the Eisenhower Trousers are cut with a fashionably wide leg for comfort and are fitted with numerous practical features including a hammer loop, key ring fob, side access pockets and a large pocket on the leg. Another benefit is the external knee pad pouches that take flexible cushioned knee pads for when working from a kneeling position is unavoidable: great looking trousers that give workwear performance.

Shirts come in two styles – long and short sleeve. Manufactured from a lightly peached cotton canvas that is soft to the touch but extremely durable, both styles have two chest pockets with button down flaps and a button fastened placket.

Summer provides different challenges for the workwear manufacturer with tradesmen needing to keep cool in hot temperatures. To meet this need Dickies has included in the new Eisenhower range a pair of tailored shorts. Numerous pockets are once again a prominent feature including an adjustable and removable nail pocket.
