The British Safety Council's Safety Best Practice Exchange event in January 2006 proved a popular success according to attendees, and this HSE-supported event is being repeated in Stockport, on the 5th September.
Delegates can make their own schedule at the event, organised discussion groups are the main activity of the day, supported by:

practical workshops;
one-to-one meetings;
presentations - case studies, Corporate Killing from a legal perspective, health and wellness culture from event hosts Adidas;
demonstrations, eg. on the free SafetyNetwork service;
taster sessions for the BSC’s new suite of Level 2 Risk Assessment courses;
the opportunity to have some personal wellness checks and health/lifestyle advice; and
valuable networking opportunities.
